What is a bundle?
A bundle is a collection of timed mock exams covering one or more subjects. Bundles are available as individual exams or multi-exam packs (e.g. 5, 10, or 15 exams), allowing you to choose the level of practice you need.
What is mind-matrix?
mind-matrix is an online education platform specialising in 11+ and GCSE preparation. We offer mock exam bundles, live courses, and detailed performance analytics to help students achieve their best results.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via our secure Stripe checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported where available.
How do I start a test?
After purchasing a bundle and enrolling, navigate to your Dashboard and click "My Tests". You will see all upcoming and available tests. Click "Launch" when you are ready — the timer will start immediately.
What happens if I lose internet during a test?
Your progress is saved periodically. If you lose connection, refresh your browser and log back in — your session should resume. If you experience persistent issues, contact our support team immediately.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase provided you have not started any tests in the bundle. Once a test has been launched, that exam is considered consumed and cannot be refunded. Please contact us to request a refund.
Who are the tutors at mind-matrix?
All our tutors are verified education professionals with degrees and extensive teaching experience in 11+ subjects including Mathematics, English, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your registered email address. You will receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you do not see it.
Is mind-matrix suitable for GCSE students?
Yes. While we specialise in 11+ preparation, we also offer GCSE-level bundles and courses. Check our Exams page for availability in your subject area.
Can I pause a test once started?
No. Once a test session is started the countdown timer cannot be paused, as this reflects real exam conditions. Ensure you are in a quiet environment with a stable internet connection before starting.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. mind-matrix never stores your card details on our servers.
When will my results be available?
For online platform tests, results are typically graded and published within 24–48 hours. You will receive an in-app notification as soon as your result is ready. Physical exam-day results may take up to 5 working days.
What year groups do you support?
We support students from Year 4 through A Levels, including primary, secondary, and advanced academic stages.
Do you follow the British curriculum?
Yes. All teaching is aligned with the British curriculum, making it suitable for UK-based and international students.
Which exams do you prepare students for?
We prepare students for 11+, ISEB, GCSE, iGCSE, SATs, and A Levels, as well as university preparation.
Is tutoring personalised?
Yes. Every student receives a customised learning plan based on their academic needs and goals.
How do you track progress?
